Falling into sin with an unrepentant heart can quench the fire of the Holy Spirit, lessening the potency of the power of God within us; for saved people who continue down this path, the Spirit will eventually depart altogether, their work for the kingdom will be burned up and the Lord Jesus will kill them, saving their soul from hell.
