Silver doesn't fall out of a mountain, roll down a cliff, jump into a furnace and then come out as a beautiful necklace on its own, but rather Jesus is the refiner in charge of the process; silver is also the precious stone in scripture often used to describe the rough state of a new believer who will be changed and polished into something of even greater value to God.
