The Lord anoints, sanctifies or sets apart both items and people, and uses them to perform a special work for Him; Jesus Christ has the actual name of the 'Anointed One' of God, sitting in the highest seat in heaven next to the Father, just as King David sat on the throne of Israel, being in similitude the head of the representation of the kingdom of God on earth.
