Ezekiel Thirteen - Pesky Foxes
"Thus says the Lord God: 'Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts. You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the Lord,'" Ezekiel 13:3-5, NKJV. #PeskyFoxes
Foxes in scripture represent creatures that are a pest, a nuisance or animal that causes the destruction of the good things of God; they cannot be controlled, follow after their own desires, caring not for the betterment of the community, but only to please themselves.
Judges 15:1-5, Song of Solomon 2:15 and Luke 13:31-33.
