"On the seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the Lord, seven bulls and seven rams without blemish, daily for seven days, and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering," Ezekiel 45:23, NKJV. #BurntOfferings
Though the pure intent of a burnt offering to the Lord was commendable (God promised never to destroy the earth with water after Noah thankfully gave his following the flood), the ceremonial law of these sacrifices could never wholly do away with sin; Jesus Christ however, who with the intent of loving us forever, offered Himself as the once and for all sacrifice, thereby totally putting away our sins and cleansing us for all eternity.
