Whenever a person is rewarded in the scriptures, the prize usually involves gifts of status, like power, fine clothing and a signet ring; similarly, just as Christ will give His children an inheritance from His own resources both in heaven and here on earth, the authority recognizing individuals for achievement takes from their own resources, ceremonially bestowing these things upon them who receive it.
