Job Seven - Short Life
"My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope. Oh, remember that my life is a breath! My eye will never again see good," Job 7:6-7, NKJV. #ShortLife
During times of suffering, one of the most comforting truths lies in remembering how short our lives really are in comparison to an eternity in the kingdom of God with the Lord Jesus; in the scriptures, our existence on earth is often referred to something as momentary as a breath, or a mist of vapor appearing, then vanishing forever.
Psalm 146:3-7, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 and James 4:13-15.
