Job Thirty-One - Distinguishing Crop
"If my land cries out against me, and its furrows weep together; if I have eaten its fruit without money, or caused its owners to lose their lives; then let thistles grow instead of wheat, and weeds instead of barley," Job 31:38-40, NKJV. #DistinguishingCrop
God often compares His people in the world to different varieties of crop grown in a farmer's field; He says nonbelievers are like thorns, thistles, wild grapes and tares, choking the life out of His harvest.
Isaiah 5:1-4, Romans 11:16-20 and Matthew 13:24-28.
