Job Twenty-Nine - Shining Candlelight

"Oh, that I were as in months past, as in the days when God watched over me; when His lamp shone upon my head, and when by His light I walked through darkness," Job 29:2-3, NKJV. #Shining Candlelight
The original word for 'lamp' in some translations in the scriptures is derived from the word 'candle' or 'the light of a candle' and is often used to describe the blessing of God over a person, a group of people like a church, or even a nation; just as it is something that can simply be lit, the Lord often reminds us it can also just as easily be put out.
Proverbs 24:19-20, Jeremiah 25:10-11 and Revelation 18:21-24.
