Job Forty - Vile Humans
"Then Job answered the Lord and said: 'Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth. Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; yes, twice, but I will proceed no further,'" Job 40:3-5, NKJV. #VileHumans.
No matter how much we exercise, what age we might be or the kind of clothes we wear to cover ourselves with, both our bodies of flesh and personalities apart from the spirit of Christ are truly disgusting in the eyes of God because of sin; the scripture uses the word 'vile' to describe our condition, and it's often translated as lowly, scorned and undignified.
2 Samuel 6:21-22, Lamentations 1:11 and Philippians 3:20-21.
