The scriptures often equate the touching or the laying of hands on the sick or the dead to heal those with infirmities or raise people back to life; however, there were instances when only a spoken command was given, producing the same effect.
2 Kings 4:29-35, Luke 7:11-16 and Acts 20:7-10.
