Romans Six - Set Free
"But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness," Romans 6:17-19, NKJV. #SetFree
Though the Lord often speaks of salvation in eternal terms, with Jesus having known His own before the world was ever formed, there comes a moment in the life of the believer when a change occurs; it is a birth, an awakening, a transition from a life of bondage to sin, to a spirit-filled existence empowered by the desire to be obedient to God.
1 Samuel 10:5-6, Mark 5:15 and Acts 9:3-9.
