Exodus Twenty-Nine - Bull Offerings

"And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it," Exodus 29:36, NKJV. #BullOfferings
It was customary in the ancient times to offer sacrifices of animals, particularly those of bulls or 'bullocks' as mentioned in the scriptures, to appease the anger of God regarding the sins of a person or people; however, this practice only served as foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, who would once and for all lay down His life as a sacrifice for sin, and then become resurrected again to life to defeat death.
Numbers 23:27-30, 1 Chronicles 29:21 and Hebrews 9:11-13.
