Leviticus Sixteen - For Ever
"This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you. For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. It is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever," Leviticus 16:29-31, NKJV. #Forever
The original word for forever is broken up into two separate words in the King James version of scripture, "for" and "ever," with emphasis on the word "ever" fitting into the context of the text; its definition means "the vanishing point" of time which is out of mind in the ancient past, what is happening in the perpetual now or will happen in the unknown eternal future.
1 Chronicles 17:11-15, Psalm 132:13-14 and Jude 1:24-25.
