Numbers Twenty-Nine - Sin Goat
"Their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the one ram, and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the sin offering for atonement, the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings," Numbers 29:9-11, NKJV. #SinGoat
Of all the animals used in sacrifice, from turtledoves, to lambs, sheep and bulls, the goat was appointed by God as the one from the herd to represent an offering for sin; later, the Lord explains that no animal can take away sin forever, only the shed blood of Jesus Christ would fulfill that mandate.
Leviticus 16:10-11, Ezekiel 45:23 and Hebrews 10:1-4.
