Exodus Twenty-Eight - Holy Garments

"And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office," Exodus 28:3-4, NKJV. #HolyGarments
With instruction given from on high, God ordered priests and those who served in the temples to wear certain types of garments when worshipping; often made of linen and sometimes intricately designed, this type of clothing seems to mirror the spiritual attire of both angels and the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

Exodus Twenty-Seven - Brass Furnishings

"And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits. And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass. And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass," Exodus 27:1-3, NKJV. #BrassFurnishings
Brass is always the lesser, semi-precious metal, just under silver and gold, used to adorn and furnish temples, altars and idols in the scriptures; God always instructed His people to keep it whenever it was confiscated in the spoils of war.
Numbers 31:22-23, Joshua 22:7-8 and Revelation 9:20.

Exodus Twenty-Six - Dividing Veil

"You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver. And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy," Exodus 26:31-33, NKJV. #DividingVeil
The word veil in the scriptures is sometimes transcribed as "vail", an archaic spelling which generally has the same meaning (a piece of cloth, often made into diverse sizes and shapes, that separates or marks a boundary between two things) though each version is interchanged in various passages; specifically, it is used to demonstrate how God kept out mankind from approaching Him after the fall of Adam and Eve, but has gradually allowed greater access over time, even with the unhindered opened door into the most holy place through His Son Jesus Christ, and subsequently the removal of the veil.
Song of Solomon 5:7-8 Mark 15:33-39 and Hebrews 10:19-22.

Exodus Twenty-Five - Divine Blueprints

"According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it. 'And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height. And you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around,'" Exodus 25:9-10, NKJV. #DivineBlueprints
There are times in the scriptures when God gives specific instructions or patterns on how create, make, construct or perform something; it can be a blueprint for a building or device, the proper way to give a sign or strategies on how to conduct warfare.
Genesis 6:13-22, Ezekiel 4:1-3 and Luke 10:1-12.

Exodus Twenty-Four - Mountaintop Experiences

"Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights," Exodus 24:16-18, NKJV. #MountaintopExperience
Many of the most vivid accounts of God revealing Himself in some way to His servants in the scriptures happened on the tops of mountains; it is there where the Lord tested, gave instructions and showed His glory.
Genesis 22:1-19, 1 Kings 19:1-18 and Mark 9:1-13.

Exodus Twenty-Three - Following Crowds

"You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice. You shall not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute," Exodus 23:1-3, NKJV. #FollowingCrowds
People coming together to stand for a good cause can be an honorable endeavor; however, on the other hand, gathering to do evil, pervert justice or kill the innocent is a weapon of Satan, used to pierce even the Lord Jesus Christ.
Numbers 16:1-5, Luke 23:13-25 and Acts 17:1-9.

Exodus Twenty-Two - Double Recompense

"If a man delivers to his neighbor money or articles to keep, and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double. If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges to see whether he has put his hand into his neighbor’s goods," Exodus 22:7-8, NKJV. #DoubleRecompense
Regarding both the payment of a reward or compensation for damages, in the scriptures God sometimes dishes out double the recompense as punishment or prize; this is usually done in cases of theft, corruption, when making amends, or honor and spiritual prowess given to those who labor in the service of God and His word.
Genesis 43:11-12, Isaiah 40:1-2 and 1 Timothy 5:17-18.
