In the scriptures, the prophets of Lord can be distinguished as such sometimes by appearance, but usually through subtle differences in language, often it being an accent, or by the manner in which they speak; Levites, or descendants of that priestly order especially stood out as different, holding the recognizable spiritual mark of being gifted by God.
