Throughout history, to this day and even into the future, the people of God for various reasons and circumstances were unable to totally drive out foriegners who worshipped other gods in their lands, and therefore dwelt among them; this principle goes to the very heart of the Lord, and His Son Jesus Christ, who though being different in nature and character from His creation, chose to dwell among mankind.
