First Samuel Fourteen - Close Calls

"But Jonathan had not heard his father charge the people with the oath; therefore he stretched out the end of the rod that was in his hand and dipped it in a honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his countenance brightened. Then one of the people said, 'Your father strictly charged the people with an oath, saying, "Cursed is the man who eats food this day."' And the people were faint," 1 Samuel 14:27-28, NKJV. #CloseCalls
Sometimes a sin against Lord, an offense against another person or a breaking of an oath in the scriptures can be so subtle that it almost seems misconstrued; in many cases, meetings are often held and the wisdom of God is petitioned, while during other instances, counsel before the verdict is quickly overtaken by emotion.
