Giving thanks first and foremost to the Lord Jesus Christ for all of the blessings which He has bestowed upon us in sincere, humble gratitude is the response of an individual's trust in God; this same humble spirit is an admirable quality often shown in the scriptures by those giving appreciation to others, when they become the recipients of the favor of God through people.
