First Kings Eighteen - Rain Prophecies

 

"And it came to pass after many days that the word of the Lord came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, 'Go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth,'" 1 Kings 18:1, NKJV. #RainProphecies
A common act of a prophet in obedience to the Lord was to prophesy both the ceasing and the coming of rain; the scriptures state that by the command of God, even through His Son Jesus Christ, He is able to both control the weather Himself and also bestow this authority upon His prophets.
