Second Kings Fourteen - Young Kings

 

"And all the people of Judah took Azariah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah. He built Elath and restored it to Judah, after the king rested with his fathers," 2 Kings 14:21-22, NKJV. #YoungKings

The Lord Jesus, who is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End and the First and the Last, in His providence, has predestined those who would serve as kings in His earthly kingdom before they were even born; as a result, many rulers, including Himself, were anointed and crowned at very early ages.
