Second Kings Nineteen - Scornful Laughing

 

"Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, 'Thus says the Lord God of Israel: "Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard." Laughing someone to scorn is a spiritual phenomenon where a group of people together, mock, ridicule and even attempt to embarrass a person with disdain; in the scriptures, it usually happens when the majority suddenly reverses course in favoritism towards an individual, as an open rejection to ultimately isolate, reject and expel them, however, the Lord has also shown to used this event as a launchpad to spring forth the miraculous.
