"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, and of Your own we have given You. For we are aliens and pilgrims before You, as were all our fathers; our days on earth are as a shadow, and without hope," 1 Chronicles 29:14-15, NKJV. #AlienPilgrims
One of the most prevailing themes in the bible concerns the notion of immigration from one land to another; though there are indeed some places on earth where a race, ethnicity or nationality of people have lived and remained without movement for thousands of years, the scriptures speak of change—not only of possession and dispossession, but in a spiritual sense, the idea of outsiders of God to being brought close to the Father and His kingdom through His Son Jesus Christ.
Exodus 18:1-5, Lamentations 5:1-3 and Ephesians 2:11-13.
