Second Chronicles Four - Washing Water

"It was a handbreadth thick; and its brim was shaped like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained three thousand baths. He also made ten lavers, and put five on the right side and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as they offered for the burnt offering they would wash in them, but the Sea was for the priests to wash in," 2 Chronicles 4:5-6, NKJV. #WashingWater
Washing or bathing is a core theme in the scriptures which speaks of not only literally submersing oneself in water to clean the body, but is spiritually symbolic of the purging of sins which takes place the moment a person is saved by Jesus Christ; it was and still is common practice to perform this ritual in pools, baths, rivers and other bodies of water, oftentimes for the supernatural healing of infirmities.
