Ezra Three - Temple Foundation

"But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy, so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off," Ezra 3:12-13, NKJV. #TempleFoundation
The laying of the foundation of the temple in Jerusalem, whether for the first time, which was symbolically given in the blueprints of the ark and the tabernacle to Moses, or in succession, after the many trials and tribulations that resulted in its rebuilding, represented the center and heart of faith in God for the community and nation of Israel; but now, the scriptures tell us that salvation from death through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, and being made alive unto everlasting life is the eternal foundation, the spirit in our bodies being the temple wherein the Lord resides, one made and existing without the construction of earthly hands.
