Second Chronicles Thirty-Five - Passover Lambs

"Now Josiah kept a Passover to the Lord in Jerusalem, and they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the first month. And he set the priests in their duties and encouraged them for the service of the house of the Lord," 2 Chronicles 35:1-2, NKJV. #PassoverLambs
Before Moses brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, God commanded each Hebrew family to take a lamb, slaughter it, and spread its the blood on the doors of their homes so the angel of death would not kill the firstborn their families, which has become a perpetual celebration known as 'Passover', commemorating that past event; but now, the scriptures teach us that Jesus Christ is our Passover, the final lamb killed once and for all for the sins of the world, saving all who believe from death and hell.
