Nehemiah Twelve - Giving Portions

 

"And at the same time some were appointed over the rooms of the storehouse for the offerings, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them from the fields of the cities the portions specified by the Law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests and Levites who ministered," Nehemiah 12:44, NKJV. #GivingPortions

When the scriptures speak of giving or allocating portions, it usually concerns the distribution of resources, wealth, inheritance or food from those who have the responsibility of maintaining, it to those who need it, served for it, or rightfully should have it; there is also a spiritual endowment, where God blesses those who serve Him abundantly with a portion of Himself.
