Psalm Forty - Better Life
"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord," Psalm 40:1-3, NKJV. #BetterLife
God is in the business of turning around virtually hopeless situations into greatness, in order to give an example of His extremely benevolent nature; it is usually depicted in scripture by showing a transition from living a life of hardship, sometimes with one working literally among animals, to a better disposition, oftentimes with royal benefits.
Exodus 3:1-2, 1 Samuel 16:11-12 and Luke 8:26-39.
