Psalm Thirty-Eight - Hot Displeasure
"O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure! For Your arrows pierce me deeply, and Your hand presses me down," Psalm 38:1-2, NKJV. #HotDispleasure
Whenever God becomes extremely perturbed by something, the language used in scripture compares His anger to heat; usually it deals with the disobedience or the behavior of His children.
Deuteronomy 9:19, Judges 10:7 and Mark 10:13-16.
