In the holy scriptures God the Father strikes the lives of both Satan and His Son Jesus Christ in order to execute His will on earth; the word used to describe the damage inflicted is usually to bruise, to crush or to smite, for the destruction of the Satanic kingdom, but for salvation and prosperity, for the kingdom of God.
