People, both individually and collectively, have the tendency to stray away from God due to sin, and as a result find themselves taken captive by it; however, Christ has died and risen again, providing a way for us through forgiveness of our sins to allow us to turn back to Him when we find ourselves lost, and given us the power to sin no more.
