Ezekiel Forty-Two - Common Things
"He measured it on the four sides; it had a wall all around, five hundred cubits long and five hundred wide, to separate the holy areas from the common," Ezekiel 41:20, NKJV. #CommonThings
The subject of the difference between 'common' and 'holy' things (with much of it dealing with food) was very important under the law of the old covenant, where a wall of separation distinguished these two areas apart from each other in all manner of life; however, God who is the Lord of all and through whom all things are possible, often declares objects which were once unholy, clean.
1 Samuel 21:1-6, Acts 10:9-16 and 1 Corinthians 8:1-13.
