There are many instances in the scriptures when a person receives some type of communication from the spirit realm, whether it be from a person who has died, an angel or God Himself; oftentimes, the one being spoken to is presented with a question.
Judges 13:16-18, 1 Samuel 28:11-16 and Luke 8:26-30.
