Job Three - Black Darkness
"May the day perish on which I was born, and the night in which it was said, 'A male child is conceived.' May that day be darkness; may God above not seek it, nor the light shine upon it. May darkness and the shadow of death claim it; may a cloud settle on it; may the blackness of the day terrify it," Job 3:3-5, NKJV. #BlackDarkness
The scriptures often use the descriptors of blackness and darkness to paint a picture of something horrible and scary, bleak situations of despair, death and hell; they are also used to portray the covering of the unknown or hidden places of our sometimes mysterious God.
Isaiah 8:22, Hebrews 12:18-19 and Jude 1:12-13.
