Genesis Seven - Forty Days

"For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made," Genesis 7:4, NKJV. #FortyDays
The period of forty days has great significance concerning numerology and how it relates to certain subjects, events and hidden meanings in the scriptures; for example, it is used as an intermediate interval separating the completion of a work of God and the start of something new, often characterized by fasting, withdrawal and destruction.
Deuteronomy 9:11, Acts 1:1-3 and Matthew 4:1-2.
