First Samuel Nine - Seer Prophet

"And the servant answered Saul again and said, 'Look, I have here at hand one-fourth of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way.' (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he spoke thus: 'Come, let us go to the seer'; for he who is now called a prophet was formerly called a seer,)" 1 Samuel 9:8-9, NKJV. #SeerProphet
In our generation, people, especially those associated with the church, who tell the future, give hidden knowledge and even perform miracles, have the reputation of being charlatans, imposters and phonies, but that was not always the case; in the ancient times, seers and prophets were respected and highly sought after for their divine information and supernatural gifts from God.
