Second Chronicles Eight - Holy Places

"Now Solomon brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of David to the house he had built for her, for he said, 'My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places to which the ark of the Lord has come are holy,'" 2 Chronicles 8:11, NKJV. #HolyPlaces
The area nearest to God is referred to as a 'holy place', and special measures are often implemented in order to preserve its sanctity; though it may be commonly understood that the most holiest place is in heaven's throne room, where Jesus now sits at the Father's right hand, the scriptures have given other locations such as mountaintops, inner sanctuaries of temples and even inside the heart of every believer.
