Second Chronicles Nine - Pure Gold

"All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Not one was silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon. For the king’s ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys," 2 Chronicles 9:20-21, NKJV. #PureGold
The scriptures distinguish between the types of gold used for making holy instruments, utensils designated for the work of God, for construction, ornamental designs and jewelry; while in some places it speaks of 'fine' gold or gold from Ophir as the highest quality, it also mentions 'pure' gold, which seems to be void of any other metallic mixture.
