Second Chronicles Thirty-Two - Faithful Deeds

 

"After these deeds of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah; he encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself," 2 Chronicles 32:1, NKJV. #FaithfulDeeds

The word 'faithfulness' in this passage comes from the original translation in English meaning 'establishment', a very rare derivation only appearing one time in the scriptures; in Hebrew, written as 'emeth' in the transliteration, it is also defined as something done in truth, with trustworthiness and assuredness.
