And they lodged all around the house of God because they had the responsibility, and they were in charge of opening it every morning," 1 Chronicles 9:24-27, NKJV. #ChiefGatekeepersThe word for "gatekeeper" in the original English translation was called a "porter", but is also named as "watchman" or "doorkeeper" in the scriptures; they are given the highly trusted chief position of opening and closing the gates of fortified cities, monitoring everyone who comes in and out, and in the spirit realm, these duties are bestowed upon angels.
